Acoustics & environment To reduce noise levels in office landscapes, we have focused on the degree of sound absorption and spent a great deal of time developing products that absorb as much sound as possible. The Edge Screen has a solid 40 mm wooden frame, containing a specially developed sound-absorbent polyester filling from 50% recycled materials. The composition of this filling effectively reduces sound levels in office environments. The filling is then covered with fabric to give a final thickness of 42 mm. The graph below shows the sound absorption ability of a floor screen with the dimensions 1000x1500 cm. The measurements have been made in accordance with EN ISO 354:2003 and evaluated under the new SS-25269 standard: Acoustics, evaluation of sound absorption of single objects. All screens and formats have been tested separately.
